bushwacker body sectioned out mid section and made a cab out of it.

both inside and outside are painted so as scratches and nicks in the body appear "scale" having a some what rust/primer/metal on the inside. i used red, silver and black. alternating colors so no one color is solid and backed with black.

and here it is with the external paint. not perfect but oh well. i'll have to touch up a few things wich will make it look a whole lot better.

playing around with a top flight panel pen before i shot the orange, the paint wouldnt cover it up!

the chassis is a reign rc K2-3S, a stampede transmission and TLT axles. the shocks are tamiya touring car units, spur and pinion are stock TLT's, motor is an Integy 55T lathe motor. yes, those are revo links and the WB is 12" or so.

also, i just used bushings through out the axles since water play will be expected rather than an exception.

yes, i know, especially since i have never done anything like it before! i sat awhile and looked and planned, and it come out pretty well, i'm happy with it. i used plastruct bondene, worked fairly well although not as fast acting as on styrene but worked. i will still back the joint with some shoe goo or hot glue.
