Feb. 2009. And I hear the price on the 1/16th Revo is going to be $350!! Not sure on the Slayers cost. But the Slayer will come with licensed Corr bodies.

Maxx man

$200 is a little high for a 1/16 but not to high the mini lst2 is $200 also I want the mini slayer really bad now! do you think it will have waterproof electrics in it or no? I wanted the slash but its not 4wd and the nitro slayer is to pricy for me so this may be a good comprimise!
one more question were did you get the pics?
OHH and one more thing doesnt that look like a 540 sized motor on it? it looks kinda big for a 380...

Maxx man
10-25-2008, 10:01 PM
I would be sweet if it was running a 540 sixed motor! maby it has one of those slash waterproof ecs's in it! it certantly has enough room for a 540!

just learnd this from davec's link in his sig around half way through there is the traxxas mini slayer and mini revo concept and the mini slayer has a tq3 radio next to it do you think it has shift on the fly?

news just in, the revo is actually 1/10 scale. sum1 "upstairs" from traxxas has answered my request

dale_gribble

The Revo is already 1/10 scale.

What do you mean that the mini revo is 1/10 scale? That doesn't make sense.

I have seen some pics on other threads from the I hobby show and you can make out the literature on the table. Looks like 1/16 scale and a 380 size motor. The mini revo does look brushless, guess we are going to see a "mini velineon" here at some point?

However, i would say the revo and maxx are closer to 1/8 scale at this point so 1/16 might be a little larger than it suggests.

Maxx man

but do you think it has shift on the fly? there is tq3 radios next to them! and the slayers ecs and servo are blue and not brushless think they are waterproof?

To tell the truth. I dont think there is much thought (build) time in these yet. Dont look production ready nearly. Also those motors really look like a 540 can.... Really big
