well, next year some time i want to get me and my dad a micro or mini... well, i want to know, what is the most fun micro or mini out there? i have seen and used a lot of the little things and love them... but i want to get one me and dad can run around the grage (how do you spell that again? :D) or on the deck or in our house. they will not be for racing just fun factor, durability, and lasting quality... this may be what hooks my dad on rc so any info would be great....:D

Taylor, whatever you do do not get any minis based on the mini LST chassis. Almost all minis made by Team Losi have terrible servo issues and will cost quit a bit to repair. One mini that is fast and tough as nails is the Associated RC18MT. This little truck takes one he11 of a beating and keeps on going. If you want a mini that is fun, fast, and almost bullet proof get the RC18MT and I can almost promise you won't be dissapointed.

BTW: You're right, Metal arms is one awsome game! Have you unlocked general corrosive yet? That guy was a pain in the a$$ to beat in campaign LOL. I used to have Metal arms for XBOX but it was stolen in my move from Illinois to Texas. I miss fighting with the titan bot.

I would suggest a vendeta st lots of alluminum and easily upgrades and from tower hobbies they are $159.99 and for the new touring verzion its $179.99 and that incluedes everything you will ever need to run them exept maby AA batteries plus they have the 1 year stress teck warrenty on any plastic parts on it and they are shaft driven 4wd so gunk wont get in any belts

i dont know what every one is so down on losi stuff yes the lst has trouble with the servos but thats the only trouble with them and that can be fixed very easily (not cheap though $130+ to fix it) but the mini t is a great little truck i have had mine for about a year and have run it about the scale equivalent of a million miles and have only HAD to ( i stress the had because all the other hop ups are for looks) replace the motor and the bushings in the wheels because they wore out, i dont count tires because you have to replace them on any vehicle. but they really do rock, as many hop ups out there for them as you can imagine and they are very durable. so i say a mini t is a great first mini and they are fairly cheap about $120-150 out the door with batteries and such

The biggest question here, is where will you be doing most of your running? You say in the house, in the garage etc. Well most "minis" ie RC18, Mini-T, LST, etc. are too big to actually do any real running in a furnished room. An empty garage, or wide open basement on the other hand works very well if they are big enough. If this type of running is really what you're looking to do with them, then I wouldn't bother with an off road mini. If you plan to do a little street bashing, and the occasional indoor running then the above mentioned will suit you very well. For strictly garage, kitchen floor, basement and so on, I would look into Mini-Z's, or Losi micros. If you want something bigger but still plan to use it indoors then look at Micro RS4's or XRay M18's.

Just my .02;)

Mainly in the house for the winter season and those rainy days... i was really leaning toward the micro dt or micro baja

The Losi micros are a lot of fun, and are perfect for indoor running. They would be a very good choice for what you are looking for.
