This body is for the 5BSS I picked up a few weeks back. I can never leave well enough alone. The body that came with the car was ok, but I wanted to put my own flare on it.
The dark color is actually a FasKolor metallic purple. The rest of the colors are Pactra colors- red, yellow, white and black. the body didn't turn out as good as I wanted it due to time constraints (e.g. I have none), but it still turned out ok.
The 5B is in a million pieces right now going through a rebuild, so here is the body by itself.

:D Nice paint Dale, I recently quit using the water based stuff, I much prefer Lacquer based stuff, even tho the fumes can be a little bad sometimes, I just use a fan.:D

What are the benefits of the laquers? I have always had decent luck with water based stuff..

I just like the color selection and I think I get a richer look using lacquer based paints.
Here are a couple pics of my personal truck. painted with lacquer candy blue, racing red, a little yellow, with some chrome on the toolbox. :D

I too am a convert to the lacquer based paints. I found that they spray a finer mist and they cover with more consistency. Now I want to say that I am a horrible painter, but I have had better success as of late using the lacquer paints. BTW I forgot to say WOW dale, I wish a quick paint job that I did could turn out that nice!!! You are your own worst critic!

lacquer paints won't give you a richer look for the most part, but at the same time some colors look far better then the water based paints of the same color (but that could be because of the way the paint is mixed, not really dealing with type of paint). All I use is water based paints, so it isn't about the type of paint used, but rather who you use them. But yes the lacquer based paints are a little easier to use (although it is a paint to have to have lacquer thinner to clean the brush).
Also the pic's will make a huge diff in the way the body looks on-line. ;)
Looks good dale, but I think it is time for you to try to add some pin stripes as that would have made that body look killer.
