These pics are old, when I first got it, but nothing has really changed between then and now. The only difference is the engine, I swapped it to my "J" (me) modded STS 28. It gets its commands from my Spekky equipped Airtronics M8.

Well this is the same engine I had in my LST and Savage, I swap them out now and then. The engine you're talking about is the STS 30, not 28. The STS 30 is an amazing engine, especially when worked over by my buddy Neil. He does all kinds of stuff to it, P&P, lightened crank, balances it, does some case work, in short, he made a 1.5 inch Savage wheelie on command. That one takes about 2 gallons to break in. The 28 is more timid, but still packs a wallop! Cheap, affordable, powerful, can't go wrong. It will hold a tune all day long.

I got the STS 28 in there now and it's a nice little ripper! Moves like nobody's business!

Update, I smacked into a basketball net at 5MPH (Badlands on the back, blads on the front, not a good combo...), Bent the throttle linkage in a U shape, popped the mudguard off, BROKE the throttle servo, smashed the radio box, and popped the pipe off...that sucked...

I was going to buy one of those Turmoil Pros since they are such a good deal right now ($189 from a-main hobbies and they have a $15/off coupon). I had a Mayhem and it was a very good and durable track buggy. The Turmoil is just an evolution of an already solid buggy.

I decided on a well appointed Hyper 7 instead. I really like hyper 7s and always have. I am definitely the most consistent with it.

Are you going to race, or just bash around?

I'll track it when my LHS opens the track for amateurs or just an open track day, but most if it's life is going to be bashing. Holding up awesomely ATM.

I like the buggie, I've never had one but it looks like I may have to give'em a try.
