Now that Traxxas has ventured into the brushless market is it a possibility it might finally happen? Traxxas has updated all its trucks except one. How many people put brushleess motors in their Emaxx's? And Traxxas is putting in brushless motors in Rustlers, Stampedes and even the Bandits.. So why not a update for their largest electric truck??

EDIT: I got to get my head off of this "Go-ped cloud" I've been on for the past few months....

I reckon it's only a matter of time. Possibly the next Generation of controllers will be capable of handling the bulky chassis, in the same way that an EVX controller is a "step up" from the XL ESCs.

Traxxas' new system seems designed for 1/10-scale vehicles running single packs. A monster truck system would probably need to be substantially changed to handle a bigger motor. I remember how long it took Novak to develop their HV-Maxx system.

That being said, I wouldn't bet against the possibility of an E-Maxx brushless. A brushless Revo would be even better:D

Well it has been while for this thread, but if you have not seen it yet along with the new EMAXX Traxxas is testing the twin Vileneon on it as well. From the info that has been posted throughout the community they plan on having something powerful enough to handle the weight of the Maxx series trucks. Plus the new twin steering servo setup will help out a whole bunch. It sure took them long enough to make this happen. Most of us have already gone as far as transforming the entire truck to metal construction. I have four SuperMaxx's now that are entirely metal from the wheels to the tranny and drive trane. Not one piece of plastic left, except for the lexan bodies. Oh well at least they are trying to accomodate our wants and needs on the RTR facet of the hobby.
