Hey guys,

This is my first post here - I decided to start building my own monster and the TXT-1 became my choice. It's making its way over land and sea as we speak, and I want to know some things before I start putting it together. Hope you guys can help!

1. How much better is an ESC compared to the MSC?
2. Is it that hard to convert the TXT to a 4WS truck?

an ESC is 10 times better than an MSC - you get much better porportional control, and brakes ilo just forward and reverse.

the TXT comes with all the parts you need mechanicially to make it 4WS, all you need is a second servo and a Y harness to connect your two servos so that they turn together.

If you decide to purchase a ESC you get one that will handle lower turn motors in case you decide you want to upgrade to faster motors as well. The beauty of R/C is the information on the internet. Research till your happy and enjoy!

If your wanting to get rear wheel steering, you will not need a Y connector but a servo reverser. When the front wheels turn right, the rear will turn left. This will give you 4 wheel steering that will work.
