I use simple green, denatured achohol, and wd-40. simple green to denatured achohol=1 part to 4, and put a good amount of wd-40 in there to prevent rust. well thats what has worked for me.... if anyone has any better ways, please let me know!
thanks

Looks good as new great stuff!!it also is high pressure so you do not need to disassemble the car every time to clean it

that "Nitro Force" stuff the sell at hobby shops is essentially brake cleaner under pressure, so simple solution- by brake cleaner!

I use a air compressor and ball valve if she is not covered in gunk. If she is just nasty I use brake cleaner and then air to be sure I get it all.

Air compressor is a great addition to any RC set-up.I have used Extreme Nitro cleaner from (Wildcat) works real well. Also it's non flammable, biodegradable.About 3.00 at my LHS.I don't use it anymore but still make a good all around cleaner for my electrics. :)

I have also heard that break cleaner is good for taking paint off of RC bodys.... anyone tried that ?

brake clean does affect some types of rubber...just a heads up to those who use it (I do) I have noticed that the rubber on some tires will "swell" a bit where it been splashed with brake clean. not sure if it's a good thing or not but just an observation

Not brake cleaner, brake fluid. It is extremely detergent and will take the paint off of anything. It does have a tendency to dull lexan, but it works very well.
