I have the Losi Desert truck. Im having a problem with the back suspension. It seems as if some oil leaked out of one of the shocks, so I took it off to refill it. I took it apart, poured in fresh shock fluid and bled it. But now when I compress the shock, it doesnt fully decompress back, whereas the other back shock does. What did I do wrong?

Describe how you filled and "bled" the shock. Does the shock have a bladder under the cap for volume compensation? Did you have the shock shaft extended or retracted when you screwed on the shock cap?

It sounds too me that the shock you rebulit is done right, and the others are done wrong. Normally you will use about an 1/8 inch rebound to no rebound on the shocks.
Now if it isn't going in all the way then you have too much oil in the shock.

Evil3......you are correct! The shaft was not bent. The one I was having all this trouble with is rebuilt correctly. Its the other one that I thought was perfect is the messed up one.
I noticed that when I wingle the shaft a little bit on the one thats not uncompressing all the way...has ZERO play when its pushed up and down through the hole of the shock cartridge.
The one that I thought was done correctly, has some play in it! Also, the more I compress it, Im noticing some of the fluid slowly oozing out.
So it turns out I need a new shock cartridge, which I just ordered. Thanx guys! Especially you Evil 3 :)
