what kind of tires do you need for the micro t to get traction on hardwood floors? mine lets the tires slip all over the place

I have one of those RPM nascar things from walmart. If you have not seen them, they are like a 1/16th ish scale upgradable, adjustable closest thing walmart can get to hobby grade rc. I had very much the same problem. I got a brilliant idea to redneck the tires. I took some rattle can undercoating (from the local o'rielly's), sprayed it kinda thick and large on a scrap peice of plywood, and ran each tire through it, then when it was getting tacky, I lightly rolled them through some sand/dirt mix. Then wipped them off to get off most of the exess. It worked really well, did not scratch the flooring, but it does not last long on pavement. From that expieriance (spelled wrong), I learned that if it is a little tacky and gritty, it should work.
Also, throttle control is the key on low traction surfaces. Punching the throttle is fun for donuts and sliding, but sucks for take offs and turns.

If you clean your floor, it should run well until you start picking up light dust. We run ours in our hanger at work, and have to clean the floor, concrete with epoxy coating, and they work well, until the floor gets dust/ dirt on it again, usually about half the day
