even though im taking a break from RC i still plan on buying the SBv2 from MRC eventually and i had a few Q's from people who have actually built it, raced it, etc. i actually first saw an advertisement for it in a back issue of RCD! so...

for those that have used it, raced it, built it, etc. :
how easy of a build was it?
did you have to mod any parts to finish the initial buildup?
were the parts quality as good as i think they are?
was the cf well made?
did the under tray become an issue at any point?
did you run into any problems while running it?
obviously its a racer but how is it in the gentle bash department?
how does it compare to a zx-5? (my neighbor/race budy got one when he heard i wanted the sbv2)
does it have any parts on it of noteabillity?
do you think it can handle a vxl? (w/ NiMH)
do the plastic towers give you any problems?
what oils do you suggest? (shock oil & lubricant wise)

do you have anyother tips or suggestions ive overlooked that would make my life easier? thanks!

ok, more Qs:

does the spur strip easily?
what pitch is it?
how is the clutch?
do the bearings it come with hold up well?
is the wing mount sturdy?
have you found any uncoventional mods that work like rpm plastic or graphite arms from another brand car that fit with some "adjustments"? (evil grin)
how does it take turns? (oval racing in its future)
are the plastic parts like the arms and c hubs sturdy?

thats all... for now

thanks again!

My biggest problem is the c hubs and the knuckles. The c hubs break and that stips the bottom screw on the knuckles. I have been searching and searching for aluminum c hubs for it. If anyone know, please let me know. Thanks Otherwise, it is a great buggy for a track. Not real big on general bashing. I have a 13t ezrun in it and it does really well for it. I ended up doing a mod on the battery tray to allow a zippy 2cell lipo. I am using velcro straps to hold down that batteries now. Hope that helps.
