hey guys does anybody have the Traxxas Slash, because i want one and i want to know how much u like it and if i should get it.:D:D

Get one! I've had my slash for almost a month now and I have nothing but good things to say about it.

Durability-second to none
Speed- With a 7-cell speed is not an issue
Handling- Takes a little practice because it is 2WD but once you get the hang of it, it is more fun than 4WD IMO

The slash has become one of my most favorite RC vehicles ever. Get one, trust me you won't be dissapointed.

go for it, my club just had its 2nd slash race today, it was awsome! and if you want more speed spend $75 and get a yeah racing 8 turn bl motor and esc! or get a vxl or cc system for $150 (im sure you can find a used one cheaper on ebay)

ive never heard of that yeah bl for 80$ anyone using it ?i put the bigger pinion on my slash and was hauling butt! 35mph easily,eats the battery real fast though so i put the stock back on.

my buddy just bought the 13.5 turn version 2 weeks ago, it does great in his kyosho lazer zx-5, it even comes with a programming card, the brand is based outa hong kong and seems shaddy at first but its a very reputable company.

The Slash has brought alot of people back to the track and put the fun back in the hobby. In my opinion, the Slash came along at the right time.

Of course we all enjoy mods, however the spec class is what brings people out. It's equal racing and easier for people on a tight budget. My local track will be running the spec and mod class for the slash this year. I will stick to spec for the fun of it as my total efforts go to buggy and truggy.

I have one and its really durable and it being waterproof is sooooo much run and with the brushless sytem it screams even with just a 7cell the tires balloon and the whole 9yards! you just have to be carfull you can make the tires rip doing donuts or letting the tires balloon to much and yes it happend to me so im getting some black epic bead locks and switch tires:D

I have the Slayer, and aside for it trying to roll easily, (heard the Slash is the same way, you just have to learn to drive it.) it is a blast. Defanatly my new favorite. The Rusty has taken a back seat. It jumps like no ones buisness, handles like a dream, very durable, and scale looks are killer. I will be adding the Slash to my stable once the income tax comes in next year, (I hope).

go for the slash mine is my fave and i put a sidewinder 4600kv bl system in it and it flyes wit my 4600 venom 7 cell batt:D

well ive finally broke the beast I broke the front left caster block and bent some of the hinge pins in it but it looks amazing with the epic bead locks and switch tires but its kinda expensive but its well worth it there is more traction but still gives you the awsome scale body roll and powerslides

Yeah how did you ever break yours? I have bashed my slash harder than any RC I have had before and this thing won't die!

the 1/16 scale slash is supposed to come out in just a few months and expect it to be near the $200 range and its actually a mini electric slayer;)

Does any body know if the wheel back spacing on a Slayer is the same as it is on the Slash ?:confused:
