I have a guy wanting to trade me a rc18t for my evader roller. I like the way it is set up, but I know nothing about it other than that. It looks alot like my tc4, and I love my tc4. Any help who be "helpful"

oh they are awesome probably the speediest of all the minis no matter what the vendetta st does because the vendetta's acceleration stinks
i have an rc18b and i love it i can get 30 minute run times off a stock 1100mah 7.2v nimh battery
it is highly upgradeable it has an upgrade for everything you want and they are almost too zippy to run indoors butall you would want to buy is a metal servo saver spring
i know you can get them from them from thetoyz.com

and if you run outdoors you want to get a set of pro-line tires
i have run my mini pin tires and they are missing a few pins from a big drift and now i have a set of pro-line dirthawg tires

Is there something wrong with those connectors? If i were to re do them, I may have to try to put on Traxxas High Current connectors. It has a 370 or 390 motor, what ever that number is....do they have heat sinks for it...the motor is getting pretty hot. Would it be better if I added just a fan to cool it, or a heatsink? I know the fan will draw current, and make my run times shorter, but whatever I need to do. The guy told me this truck had no reverse, that the ESC was bad, but it went fine forwards....I got to thinking about it, figured out it was a programable ESC, and read on how to prog. out of racing mode....Guess what, now it has reverse. I e-mailed him to let him know, I bet he is hacked off right now.

you might want to lower your pinion gear a few teath and then you wont have to buy a heat sink

I bought smaller pinions, pulled the motor out, and the pinion will not come off the shaft no matter what I do. I purchaced a new motor from tower today, and a heat sink just in case. I purchased and installed a aluminum steering bellcrank set, I was told it would help the sloppy steering. Boy, it was a expensive dress up, cause it did not help the steering. But hey, it looks better...kinda. I am looking for a servo saver. Tower does not have one listed for this little guy. What can I use that will work with the new bellcrank stuff, but will remove all or most of that wicked bad slop?

Not much to look at under the body.
It's basicaly stock with aluminum shocks, and outdrives, Tekin reciever and B1 speed control and a spur gear cover set from TheToyz.
Here ya go!!

These trucks are fun little beasts, not perfect, but definetily fun. They do have some front slop, which stems from the servo, servo saver and the control arms and the weak bell crank doesn't help any. The good news is that it all can be upgraded. I built one of these trucks for my brother before he passed away and he loved it. I wasn't as stable as my Vendetta St, but it kept up pretty good. However both trucks were brushless. Here are some pics of my brother's truck. the last pic shows what happens when you go to fast and can't keep it a way from a curb.
