Dude says that the only thing really stock on it is the a arms. And hey, it's brushless. I guess I will have my first attempt at LiPo's also. I have been a little scared of them because of the hazards I have heard of while charging.

If you can maintain a nitro then anything electric will be a walk through the park.

Just make sure that the low voltage protection is turned on in the ESC. I killed a battery recently running in the default settings(no lipo cuttoff). I have both, Revo and Mini-T, not brushless but I have just as much fun with the Mini-T. The convenience of electric and the power of brushless... Now you have the option to run inside or at night. I don't blame you for making that trade.

Here is what his ad said......
ok guy's i have a mini t with a mamba 8000 brushless set up in it, ive got aluminum wheel hubs on it f/b, aluminum steering link, titanium tie rods f/b, aluminum motor mount, mip cvd's and ball cups, mip diff, trinity chrome wheels and monster tires on it, ball bearings all thru it, buga bug body on it, and will come with a new mini t truck body nip, the only thing stock on it is the chassis and a arms. im sure im missing a few things, to much to list.
So, do you guys this this will be a Mini T worth having? My uncles Mini T broke literaly on every run before his batteries were low. His motor over heated badly, and now it just sits on a shelf.

Wow. once again disappointed by Losi. I wish I could roll back time and not make the trade. I broke the front a-arms by clipping a curb a few weeks ago. I broke the chassis rolling through a oval parking lot. I am sure it was stressed already, but WOW, riding through and it takes off any direction it wants to go till I can get it stopped. Just when I almost started to like it a little. Well, rear a arms and a new upgraded chassis and nothing will be stock but the battery hold down. I cannot believe how cruddy this thing is. Both of my losis will be 99%upgraded before they will run 1 battery pack all the way through. If that is not cruddy, I do not know what is. I have never owned any product that must be completly upgraded in order to run properly.
Also, I found the mini t has a ton of slop in the front caster blocks, axle carriers, and other front end and steering parts. It is causing the camber, caster and toe in/out to be off at different points of a straight line shot causing irratic handling and steering concerns. The upgraded shocks leak everywhere and will not keep fluid in them. They must also be replaced. But hey, it's a Losi and Losi is gold right.....(I think I just threw up in my mouth).

Well, it has a load of hop ups installed. But, I should have know better. I was bored of the revo and nitro all together. I was wanting into brushless and or minis. It was a good deal for my needs. That is what I based it on, plus, I got some cash out of it. But, I would not do it again.

I've never driven a Mini-T before but the MLST2 is pretty good once you get the servo issue fixed. IMO though any mircro/mini from Losi is not really meant to handle brushless under any conditions. Even with the drivetrain bullet proofed, the trucks just can't really handle the speed. I would say sell the mini-T because it just seems to be a little too fragile but keep the MLST and upgrade to MLST2 specs replacing the brushless with the twin 370s. Ever since I fixed the servos on my MLST2 with the Exotek conversion I have only had a couple issues here and there with my mini LST but nothing too big. Like I said the Mini LST is pretty strong once you get the servos and diffs replaced but the Mini-T, well I really don't know a whole lot about it.

I am working on a trade for a TT01 drifter for the Mini T. I will keep the MLST, and I think it is a MLST2, I am not sure of the differance, but I think thats what dude called it when I got it from him. I may swap the brushless over to the RC18T, and run a dual 380 on the mlst. But then I will have to get a esc for the mlst, and moneys a little tight. Gonna be savin for a 1/16th e revo....BRUSHLESS

I almost have this traded for a tt01 drifter sedan. I hope it goes through so I have a sedan, and no more losi mini t.
