my buddy got one when he heard i was saving up for an academy sbv2 pro and ill tell ya what that car is tough, it takes the abuse with pride, the stock motor sucks though, it goes like 12 mph and after about 2 days he ordered the yeah racing 13.5 turn bl system. it hauls now!

the only suggestion id make is get new tires/rims (the stock ones suuuck), lotsa spare spurs and ball links, ball screws and heads cuz he seems to break them alot

Allright thanks for the info,ya the rims do suck and blew one apart allready, does youre friend have any susgestions on what rims would fit on it?and
yes the motor is slow,Iam running a rocket pack orion 5100 in it right now but my E-maxx with 4500 rocket pack is still alot faster.

he runs HB 1/10th buggy rims made for the d4 cyclone, he got them on A-Main hobbies, the tire choice youll have to make yourself depending on what surfaces you run on (duh).

but you can run any 4wd specific 1/10th buggy tires on the market, also, if the rims you want dont use hexs your ok cuz all you have to do is remove the hex from the axle. (we found this out when i was helping him find a set, it seems like common sense but most ppl dont realise it)

lol those motors and rims are POS!

edit: HB - hot bodies racing (hpi's racing brand)

I really like the way it handels, verry stable and fly`s stright and level but the stock motor should be changed plus the rims.I heard that kyosho is comming out with an brushless zx-5 4wd RTR donīt know when ? I was told this by the hobby store after I had bought my car.

not sure about the vortex, but my buddys running the 13.5 t bl yeah racing motor (it was $75 for whole system) , its not super quick but its a crap load more user friendly than my vxl. and its got enough power to make quick laps around the local track. they also make a 9 turn version, all are brushless.

the reason i suggest it so highly is cuz its so user friendly, and has alot of very good features, in my opinion, for the price you pay new, you get a system thats worth much much more. i cant say enough about it. the only drawback is that its sensorless so you cant run a race if they are roar affiliated and enforce roar's rules.

as for the sparrow hawk, google that sucka and im sure something will pop up
