I am looking at the trinity t-spec, but I am unsure of the parts availability. I loved my tc4, so it is in the mix. I am also looking at the hpi e-10 touring rtr. I do not want belt drive. Looking to stick with shaft driven 4wd. Any suggestions? I am buying in a few weeks. So little time to compare notes. Looking to stay under $300-350 depending on if it is a kit or rtr. $350 is my limit with a kit for the motor, esc, reciever, crystals, servos and anything else I need. I have batteries and radios. I am tired of swapping parts out between cars/trucks, so I am trying to build my esc's, servos, motors, recievers, and crystals up.

idk what scale you want, but if your looking for a great mini tc for great price, the new duratrax vendetta tc is perfect for $180

The surface I will run on most has some large tar seams. so a mini would do some flips every 20 ft or so. Looking for 1/10th. Maybe larger if something catches my eye.

If you're looking for a nice shaft-driven sedan, I would recommend either a TC4 RTR or a Tamiya TB03. Spare parts will be much easier to find than if you went with a T-Spec. Plus, being that the T-Spec is made for spec class racing, I don't think any companies make hop-ups for them.

Yeah, that is why I said I am unsure about the parts avalability. The TC-4 I ran for 2+ years, and only lost the stocker motor, rubber, and rims. I crashed very hard many times, even jumped it a few times on my revo ramp. I never even broke a body post. It was amazing the durability behind the AE product I had purchased. I am leaning toward another tc-4 rtr. But I am also open to other things like the HPI e 10 4wd. As long as it is shaft driven, and NOT made by LOSI, I will look at it. I just have not found all the 1/10th scale shaft driven 4wd cars to look at yet. I am searching though. I will probly end up with the TC-4 RTR though, it is tryed and true. I will look at others to be sure though.

The HPI Cup Racer does look like a cool kit, but keep in mind that it's a mini 1/10th scale.

It does look good. But may be a little small. I will need to look at one at the LHS if they got them.

If you haven't picked up a car yet, look at the OFNA JL10e. It is a 200mm car but is a $130.00 roller. You will need a body, servo, & electronics but it will be well within your $350.00 budget since you already have radios and batteries.
