TXRCO-Texas RC Offroad

Well here I'll post up on TXRCO. If we have a comp date or any type of updates I'll post up.


Texas RC Offroad is dedicated to offroad RC's, we do not subscribe to any one style of competition, we are open to all styles of offroad RC. We enjoy Truck Trials, Rock Racing and simple friendly GTG's. Texas RC Offroad is primarily located in the Houston area with members all over the surrounding areas of Houston. We head out to Bryan/College sation area every few months. We are always looking to expand and always looking for new members. We focus on having fun first and rules and regulations second. We enjoy pushing the limits of our Rigs in competition, but not the limits of whats fun and enjoyable. We are a new club that started in late 2007 but we plan to build and grow fast, so feel free to come on by or stop by the forum and introduce yourself. (We now have many more comp crawlers, more than scale) We are even in the current process of bring supers back!

I see what ya mean about the switch tires not doing well at crawling:( that really stinks...

They were great on the loose dirt climb. Thats where I made some time. If that gate wasn't there I'd be over a minute behind.

I was runing stock, 1/8 buggy foams and no foams at times. Buggy foams worked best, but the short height, and none agresive tread they don't do well.

There will be three short 2.2 comp courses. And a few Tuff Truck courses (how many is TBA)

Here is the schedule:

8:00 - Couse setup

9:00 - 2.2 Tech inspection and driver registration. (if you show up late you will be allowed to run but we will need to make sure that you pass tech before you run)

9:20 - Drivers meeting

9:30 - 2.2 Comp begins

12:30 - Lunch break

1:15 - Tuff Truck inspection and registration

1:30 - Tuff Truck comp starts!


Alrighty, you guys know the drill, please register your rigs in this thread.

And only one rig per driver per cl**** I.E. I cannot run multiple 1.9 scalers in the tuff truck comp, but I can run one 1.9 and one 2.2 scaler.

Also, please be on time as that is crucial to everyone's enjoyment of the competition. Thank you.
