hey im guna turn my rc8 in to a brushless monster. wich motor/spedo combo should i use around 300$ and wich conversion novak or teamassociated?

I would go novac... just cause they have a cooler name lol:p I have never done anything with 1/8th scale conversions

I have never done anything with Novak. Not saying they are not good, just never used them. I have used AE several times in the past, and will continue to do buisness in the future. I know AE makes great products,unlike Losi product, (had to rant), and I know AE aftermarket, oem, and factory team stuff is all great. IMO, I would use AE just because they are familiar to me.

Oh, and on the brushless thing, I am loving my VXL, but I am sure that is not what you are looking for. I hear great things about castle, and depending on the size of the track you intend to run should determine the motor size. My local offroad track a vxl would fit the bill very well.

cool i might try to make a brushless kit my self for my car but i also seen a cheap place to get feaigo motors and stuff. ill get the cheap stuff and if it doesnt hold up for me ill get a mamba monster esc.:D im a cheapo

go for it, it cant be too hard, as long as you have a dremal you can do anything. my friend that has the tt-01 made his own mount out of 3mm L channel aluminum

ya i have been planning but i dont have the mony now or yet so i half to wait till i get the brushless. for now ill just half to settle for nitro ,not that its not good or any thing:p

always! go electric!... i beat a slayer with my bl slash without lipo's... so I still spent less (slayer is still faster unless I run lipo's) and won! it wasnt on an offical track... I think I would have been beet there... just because of the 4wd
