ae is very good

the academy gv2 is very nice as well (id like to get one eventualy) but it isnt as good on a rough track as say a carpet or well gromed clay track

Well I can tell you that I have drove the big 3 being the AE B4, Kyosho RB5, and the Losi **** as well as the X-Factory X6.

Some basic info about each car, and they way they react.

The AE is a great car and and has a ton of steering, and over all is known for haveing an agresive steering package. It does lack a little rear grip when you don't have the right tires, and even if you do the car can still be a hand full as some times it has too much steering. The car likes being drove on the edge, but being that it likes that driving style it can be easy to over drive the car.

The Losi it one of the best cars in the rough stuff, and is also one of the best cars when in the air as it tends to jump flat. It does lack a little bit of steering over all but once you find the right set-up it will have more then enough in most cases. It is also known as being easy to drive as it is very forgiving if you are out of shape just a little, and it is a easier to push the car when needed.

The Kyosho has a ton of rear grip, and to me has the best balance between turning and rear grip. In a way it is like takeing the best of the AE, and Losi cars. The car is very easy to drive, and can make some fast laps even if you are not pushing the car, although if you need to push the car to make up some time it is very easy as well. Really the only donw side is that parts are hard to come by, and it is the most money to get one (the X6 is more, but that isn't a full car out of the box).

The X-Factory X6 has a lot of steering and drive almost like a B4 as it does use the front end off of the B4. However it does rotate a little faster through the turns but like the B4 can become hard to push it. It fly's and handles the bumps really good, and is a car that the smoother you are the faster it goes (other cars would be the B4, and RB5 (yes the smoother you are the faster you will be, but over all these 3 cars benifit the most for it)).

I can't say much about the MRC GV2 as I havn't drove one yet, but from watching it in action it does handle the bumps really well, and had a fair amount of roation. It did look like it had a little more rear grip then it did steering. I would say it is inbetween the RB5 and Losi in the handleing deparment.

Keep in mind that is just what my thoughts on the cars are, but over all it will hold true for most people. Another thing to keep in mind is that your driving style will effect the way you like the car or not. I tend to like a car that when I am on the throttle the rear end plants and just drives out of the turn, or in other words I tend to like a car the pushes slightly on power (however I do like the gobs of steering that the B4/T4 have), and I like to drive the car hard out of the turn, and attack the track (I do drive differnt if the perfered line is to go slower), but for the drive into the turn it depends on the turn as some times I like to drive in hard, but other times staying smooth but a tic slower in is faster. Another thing is try to drive the cars you are looking at if you plan to race, as that will help you find the right car for you. Just keep in mind that some times the set-up might not work for you, os if you can drive more then one it will be alot better for making up your mind.

For me I own a T4 and an RB5, and I plan on getting the RT5 when it comes out as I just like the way they drive, as I tend to attack the track more and for me the Kyosho cars better fit my drivng style, but if I had to I could drive any car just as fast as the other although what it really comes down to is comfort (sp?) and confidence (sp?) on the track (I am too lazy to run this through a spell checker lol).

NP, just don't ask me about the tuning parts of the car as there is a ton of things you can do to change the cars handling (ok I know some or a lot, but it is easy to get things mixed up). lmao
