I picked up a TLT kit and was planning on using the axles for another project....BUT I have the carbon chassis here that I never really used, and after some deliberation, I decided to keep it fairly stock. The TLT opened a new world for me as far as customizing and scratch building, so i have a soft spot for it.

I also have the same body as monster mo in 1/18 scale...so Mini Mo was born! I built up the chassis with a few mods: battery in front, locked axles and a 65t lathe and gearing change. This will be my indoor crawler for a while.

some pics of the chassis and progress.....this one will be coming along rather slow as time is somewhat limited lately...i know the stock TLT is a little "overengineered," but i think it's a cool little truck! just have to mount and paint the body, and build up some bumpers like big brother. :)

I've always liked the stock TLT's. Sounds like a fun build.

technically Ford was contracted to build jeeps for WW2, along with Willys and Bantam.

Body mounted, just have to get some paint on it...and a flex shot - not bad for such a little truck!
