Bugz2002 has the same build going on, thought i'd post up some pics of mine....buildoff? :)

This was a painted body only saturday morning -I was goofing around (i actually was cleaning my workbench, found the body buried under some stuff and got totally distracted) built up one of my CC01's and blew the dust off the body and dropped it on there. Perfect fit!! fabbed up some body mounts and so far so good.

has a 75t lathe, waterproof servo and ESC, front bumper and suspension mods.

have to detail the body and put it back together. I made the roofrack a little more scale by adding some mesh, the ties will be hidden when done. All i got done, but off to a good start!

and yes, i swapped my HPI's before taking the pic :):)

Ha! i don't know about that - but competition drives excellence... and it'll be cool to see 2 different chassis coming together under the same body. Hope to get some mroe work done this weekend....it's on! :)

I made some adjustable mounts out of styrene, stock body mounts, and some other parts i had in my pitbox. I use velcro to hold the body on. The rear mount is a little tall, but seems pretty solid overall.

I really have to get some updated pics on here, she's all but done, i just need to make a front bumper and I just ordered a set of rock claws for the new wheels.

finally some pics!

got all the body detail done, just need to make some rock sliders and F/R bumpers, but coming along well. I have some MRC tires coming as they are a lot more grippy that the stock tamiya bricks. Still have to lock the rear diff also.

I was looking at this, and realized the body takes basicially the same shape as my Xterra....Hmmm. Might be a future project.

sure - its basicially the stock body mounts (for the toureag) for the most part drilled out to accept a flat mounting surface. then styrene and velcro. Love this chassis, it's very scale and versatile and performs very well with a few mods.

i have a new set of TLT axles also waiting for a project....another buildoff? lol! J/k, i have no time as it is right now and I started yet another project last night using the toureag body.
