Does anyone know anything about this boat, or aqua crafts reputation. I got to play with one of these boats a few weeks ago, and liked it alot. But it is pricey @ 300+ bucks, then batteries. I know it is brushless, I know it handles good and is fast. I just am unsure if they are a reputable company or kind of a new bright kind of company. The boat seems to be durable, but I would like a Boat guys oppinion. Thanx.

aqua craft is very good! i have the sv27 near the top of my mental rc wish list, they are very nice boats, theres a place near me that has rc boats and planes, a guy there let me take the '27 out and i was like  afterwards, the guy was running 2s lip-O (new way to say lipo:p) and i was more than impressed!

The boat can be made to run fast! One of the first that came in off the production line was sent to California and kept as stock as possible with a few minor exceptions like top-of-the-line Li-Po's and a prop swap was ran at the NAMBA record trials at Legg Lake. It made an averaged two-way pass over 61 MPH. All of the headers and mirrors were removed plus an air dam made from Hockey tape in the tunnel area to help keep it on the water. The stock motor, ESC and radio gear were retained, no special equipment.

Aquacraft has been around for quite a few years but this is a relatively new name as their products improved. When a friend of mine, Mike Zaborowski got a job working for them, the quality of the boats really went up. The old name was Hobbico which is still around but the boats moved under the new banner.

Could be! :D
It took me a while to finally get in (somebody forgot to check a box when he tried to join up but I won't say who) but I've been around the block a few times with boats.
I'll be checking in a lot so if anyone has a problem or question, maybe I can help to answer it. I'm kind of known for being honest as far as giving my 2 cents. If a boat is a clunker, I'll say so. If anyone is considering buying a boat and need input before the purchase, if I know anything about it I'll let you know the good and bad points or ways to help improve it.
I'm mainly into small-block nitro and gas. If it's sail or electric I'm not your man. I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed and am not afraid to say so.
Things look a little slow in here so let's see if we can liven it up a bit!
