Just received my red 1/16 Revo - WOW, what a cracking little 'truck' !!
It moves also, and that's before I receive my series connector and second battery !!
Love the balance, but it could do with something like Losi do to DE-sensitise the steering. Even at speed, you can 'turn on a dime' or try to, and seriously roll it. A little care and you avoid this.
Super little truck. Long may there be more like this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :D :)

They are plain retarded on 2 batteries. A guy has one with "speed" gearing and Elite 1500 2/3a cells and it tops out at 53mph. I think 1 battire is plenty fast. I never thought I'd say I don't want something that fast.

I am loving my Mini E REVO VXL , most fun I have had with an R/C right outta the box .
With a little tuning it drives just like the 1/10 E REVO and is very capable on the track .

Just bought a wheelie bar for mine, whilst waiting for my second battery!
Tough, cheap and functional - looks OK also.
Type in this reference into the Ebay search engine 270425021111
Fits perfectly. I only added a little bearing oil to free it a bit more.
It fits over the wing brace bars - very neat design taking advantage of the strength of the bolts.

Guess what?
It's not as shiny as it was 4 days ago!!
NOTHING has broken, and that wheelie bar has been working overtime.
I'd bought an adaptor to use with my IntelliPeak charger and charges are in 1 hour, not 6, but as Traxxas state - correctly - that the battery's got to be cool / cold before charging (it's pretty hot after I've finished!) I've started putting the battery in the fridge to cool it down more quickly after discharge!!
I love the bits in the manual about avoid acceleration, braking and cornering sharply .. what the £%$^£$ are you going to do with it?
My mini-Raminator can't keep up with it, and that's got a Mongoose 8.5 on 2S lipo. I got a little disappointed with the Mongoose until I opened things up and noticed the VXL's ~50% bigger!!
Both are great little trucks.
The mini-R has a curious effect that after using it, I DO want to use it more, but I also want to get one of the big ones out ...
It's got me more enthusiastic than I've been in quite a while.
