Best Truggy

Ive heard alot of good things about truggies now its time for me to get one :) I dont have alot of money (who does....lol). Im only going to be using it around around the yard and at my friends' small track with a few jumps so it doesnt have to be bulletproof and parts have to be cheap and easy to get. Im new to nitro and have only had a few traxxas. Tried eBay but dont know what is good for my use :confused: any help would be appreciated, thanks

A thunder tiger sounds good for ya. More basher friendly than the top names, but can be a contender with very few mods.

the best basher truggies would be the thunder tiger, ofna and maybe the duratrax (not as many shops support duratrax) your best bet is to see what your lhs supports.

if you do decide to get a really nice truggy look at mugen, losi, xray, team associated, hot bodies (hpi), kyosho, tamiya, o'donnell and any other number of race manufacturers. most truggies though will be up to just about anything you through at them short of explosives, brushless conversion ultra high speed crashes, and acts of god.:D

if you really want to cheap out, a revo can be setup to go up against truggies, they combine the mt and truggies at my oval track and since its realatively small those big block truggies dont really have time to break out a can of whooop azz! like the revos do, and when setup correctly the revos can hold their own

word of advice as well, truggy tires and parts have seen a real jump in price, for a set of 2 tires you can expect to see atleast 30 bucks and for a full set (4) they can go into the 90's, it mainly has to do with how competative the class has become, alot of ppl would saw off there right arm (or someone elses for that matter) if it ment they would win.
