View Full Version : AE sponsoring a Top Fuel Funny Car

Was watching the NHRA race from Minnesota Sunday, and saw one of thier stickers. It was on Jack Wyatt's funny car. About a newspaper page size AE/RC10.com sticker in front of the rear tires. Pretty cool.

personally I dont think it will because it takes a special areas to do that... but thats me...

I would say rc drag racing will always be one of the underground bits like rc tractor pulling.


Also although ae does have a deal on that car, chances of them making a drag kit is very very slim. Same thing with kyosho and doing a thing for the jetta cup (I think it was the jetta cup).

yeah, i dont think AE can put out a funny car. too few people would buy them, and true gear-heads make their own.

I'd be amazed if they built one to. I'm curious as to who approached who for the sponsorship. AE went to Wyatt or the other way around.

neat!

ya know tamiya sponsored a 24 hours le mans racer a few years back, all that you see is a small double star logo on the front left panel.

a le mans car is like any other RC (speed and turning). but a top-fuel funny-flopper, thats something else.
