Hello all. I'm Bob from Indiana. I've been an r/c person since the Tamiya Hornet days in like 1984 ish. The last 10 of those years slowly going R/C Nuts. Thats where I still am today. With over 30 cars & trucks of different shapes & sizes. I enjoy all of them for different reasons. I recently got my first Large Scale it's an MCD Baja1000. After a several year relationship with largescalerc.com. I now also work there full time. It's a great thing for me, horrible for my finances ! Looking forward to meeting many of you ... I have to say Sorry to Bob H. . I sent an email because I could not get verified. I still had to try like 3 times ?? Who knows, my connection on dial-up is about to change. Anyway I made it.

Thanks Dave. It has been cool to read through the names here. I remember people from places long ago & still today. Chitown is closer to home for me than some others. I've met alot of very great people over the years from all over the world too, I might add. I think the forums are great ways to stay informed & intouch with a similar crowd of people. I also have every issue of RCDriver & have enjoyed watching it grow into a premier magazine for radio controlled enthusiasts of all kinds. I think the coverage of different vehicles is what makes the mag. a great thing. It gives people looks at things they might not even know are out there. Hats off to RC Driver for some awesome R/C coverage & Tons more to come .....

welcome to the site. Now if I can only convince my wife to let me have over 30 cars and trucks. :)

Thanks for the welcome. I plan on being an asset to the site best I can. I think I have found a couple of key points to help this problem. Keep her involved in the hobby best you can. If at all possible, find what she really likes in the hobby. Then buy her one of her very own & encourage her to use it. Heck buy yourself one as well & Enjoy them together. My wife has her own T-Maxx & runs several others. I would have never gotten as deep as I am without her support !!
