Here's some get it back on the track quick things I've done in the past. I'm not saying they are permanent fixes. Some may work for awhile!
*CVD Pin-if yours has ever worked itself out, then take old spring and cut it to size. I've sometimes had to bend the ends at 90 degree angles. Just make sure you don't cut it too long where it gets into the hub!
*Fuel Tubing is your friend!
-I've been doing some kit bashing here in Iraq keeping people's trucks running. When someone brought up their RTR with plastic shocks that weren't cutting it, I replaced them with Losi Shocks I had. Well I ran out of the collars that go on the top mounting hole. Sandwich some fuel tubing between two washers and your good to go!
-I place fuel tubing on the lower screws on my shocks. It keeps the bolts with the shocks when I'm trying to swap out or repair them in a hurry!
-One of the guys had a problem with the driveshafts in his car and I didn't have anymore O Rings. Yep! Fuel tubing!
-run your electronics’ wires thru oversized fuel tubing! Especially handy on your receiver pack's wire!
*Folgers Coffee Cans-The new plastic tubs are sweet for storage at home!
KIT BASHING!
*Losi front steering blocks and spindles work great on my Traxxas N. Rustler! When I was putting my Rusty back together, somehow these parts got lost. Did a little sanding on my Losi parts and they work great.
*Buddy brought over an old T2. He was wanting to convert it to dirt oval. Losi XX rear hubs fit on and gave him a ton of adjustment holes. Might look for some more to put on my other trucks!
Whenever I think of more, I'll add to it. If you have some random stuff, feel free to add it here! When you can't buy it, fab it!
