Well, I picked this little guy up on a trade. I have been looking for a TC4 for a while, but a NTC3 will fit the bill just as well. I work on the road alot. Lately, there are not any good spots for a Off Road truck with out you go to a skate park, and you all know that means broken parts. Well, alot of my "Need for Speed" can be solved by picking up a sedan and running it in Motel parking lots. I had a ton of luck with my TC4 that I regretably sold. So, I decided to get another one. Well, everyone likes to hold on to thier TC4's I have found out, so I got to looking around for TC3,4,5's. I found this one, and the price was right. So, I made a deal on it. I traded my T-Maxx and Blade CP for this. I wanted 150-200 for the maxx, and 100 or less for the blade. He was asking 275. Fair deal I think cause the maxx was just sitting cause the Savvy I picked up is a great truck to play with. And the blade, well, just not my thing. Here are a few pics.
1. NTC3, decent basher shell, looking into a "more my taste" shell with my "custom" touch of painting...(sloppy). LOL

2.General over view of stuff...Starter box with ignightor, 2nd chassis, (thinking of going brushless conversion on it...maybe) new rubber mounted on new spoke wheels, wont last long I am sure, home made drift tires (lots of epoxy and some pvc on TC4 stock wheels) coould be fun after I balance them, bags of goodies, shocks, a arms, axle carriers, reciever box, gears, pins, ect., stock traxxas 2 channel radio and the RTR NTC3.

3.New wheels, by the whay, there are some new wheels and tires on the NTC3 already, they cames mounted up there for me....yeah

4. Redneck drift tires

5. Roller chassis, (almost, it needs drive shaft from rear to front diffs, one axle and one dogbone on front, one rim is just sitting there, look closely and you can see that there is no axle and nut on it. Also, the starter box. New battery in it, everything works on it including the ignightor. Sweet...

6. Parts bags, some new stuff, some old. Both chassis have threaded aluminum shocks, so that is good.

All electronics work great, all shocks are full of new fluid, I just installed 50 wt on the front and 40 on the rear of the RTR and a new filter, not quite what goes on that filter housing, but will work, the original was dirty, so I washed it and I am waiting for it to dry so I can put new oil on it. The dish rims should last a while, I hope the rubber does too. I have a 5 cell hump pack to put on here as soon as I locate a plug for the on/off switch side. The pack hooks direct to the switch, so I must clip the lead and install a plug on the switch so I can still charge the pack without mods to it. It has a 2 speed on both chassis and new brakes on the roller chassis. Since I am looking at going brushless conversion on it, I should not need the brakes. I may try to go big block on the roller just for the heck of it. I also have a 2.5 TRX motor that looks like it would fit. If it does fit, I will trade up for a 3.3 TRX motor and install that on there. It would be wicked powerful on a sedan, just like a 3.3 Nitro 4 tec. Hmm, maybe too much power to drive it well, maybe just trade for a new 2.5R and install it. I am trying to get to the LHS in the next few days so I can get some fuel and maybe a few parts for mini revo so I can have me some fun. If anyone has a NTC3, and would like to share tips or setups, LMK. I am diving head first into this sedan, and I have never ran one before. So I am shooting in the dark on set up and such. Do I need sway bars for just running in parking lots? What tires last the best on a Nitro sedan and have good grip. Thanx for looking guys, and let me know what you think.

Well, I got to run it today. The first tank I fought tires coming unglued, drift like reactions with nice street tires, and adjusting the carb out. The second tank I ran, I noticed a good difference in performance, and then richened it just a tad and she ran good other than the drift factor on grip tires and the tires still trying to come unglued. Third tank, swapped tires out and it handled a ton better. Fixed the toe in on the front, and looked at top end a few times, (round 40-50ish). Loved how it felt at speed, slow speeds, and on take off. Unfortunatly, before the tank was competed, I hit a nasty divit in the road at speed and caused me to sail through the air like a crippled bird. After all the slips, tumbles, flips, and curb checks, it landed right side up. Upon returning to me, I noticed something out of wack because of a "donut" effect at half throttle. When it finally limped back in, I saw I lost a toe link on the rear, and poped the bottom shock cap off, and lost a body clip. I found just the bottom spring retainer fromt he shock. I grabbed a spare body clip and toe link from my box and was back in busness to finish off tank three. I look forward to alot of fun and enjoyment from this little guy. I also do not think I will upgrade the motor very soon. This little .12 packs alot of punch for a tiny motor. Could use a touch more power off the line, but once it starts moving it is vicious. A TRX 2.5R may have a bit better ummph off the line, but may be to much motor after that. I will stick with this for a bit and enjoy it while I can.

I had one of these for a while before I sold it off - best handling nitro car I've owned hands down. Really need a smooth surface though, they have about zero ground clearance. I had a Traxxas Pro-15 in mine, and it was plenty fast. Enjoy it!
