Chicks dig me because I rarely wear underwear, and when I do, it's something unususal.
On my deathbed, I will recieve total conscientiousness, which is nice.
If I don't get in better shape, I'm gonna die before I'm 30.

I'm Peter, 35 years young from Louisiana. I'm married with one son and have a bad habit of buying/selling rc's, I now have more fun wrenching on them than driving them. No racing here, bashing only! My current collection consist of......
Losi Aftershock
HPI Wheely King, stretched of coarse
Traxxas Sportmaxx
Traxxas Rustler, electric
Traxxas 3.3 Revo
Mugen buggy
And a co workers T-Maxx that spends more time at my house for repairs than at his house.

So im a huge Rc basher ... not only because of my collection , but i am 6.5 feet tall. I have an extensive collection that runs all the way back to my Monster Beetle that i got from Radio shack back in grade 6 (a long time ago)
My current collection starts with my micro-t with a few hop ups , My mini-t with a few hop ups , I also have a Kyosho Mini-Z monster and the Mini-Z lambourghini Catamaran to tow behind it , Several helis most by Airhogs , a few indoor flyer planes , and a parkzone centurion cesna , A couple boats , the villain IV , and a cheapo wingrush , i also have an E10 drift by HPI , and then we get to the big boys , i have a T-Maxx with multiple hop ups , mostly alluminum parts , I have a revo 3.3 with titanium upgrades , moab tires , and an Rc solutions roll cage , then my ultimate fave in my collection just recently assembled , my HPI Baja 5B SS ... Its totally sweet!!!
Wholly , just looking over my collection here , i guess i could say i am quite an enthusiast :) ... the scarry thing is , i have probably another dozen rc's i want to add to my collection.

Hello, I used to race a few years ago but kept crashing and having to buy new parts. Now, I drive my T3 off the roof of my house sometimes and it never breaks. I don't race any more but I do tear around in my 15 acre backyard sometimes.

My name is Mike, I'm 37 and have an 11yr old son and an 8yr old daughter. Happily married and love about anything rc. right now I have several vehicles mostly nitro. 3 nitro 1/10 trucks (redcat) 1 elec. truck (also redcat) a nitro evader, three boats 2 of which are cheapies and the other is an aquacraft nitro hammer. Last but not least an electric helicopter that I've only crashed once (never been off the ground, I'm too chicken :o ) Yes you heard it right, crashed once but never been off the ground. Not gonna explain any more than that. Right now I'm working on a workbench set up in my basement and hopefully will be buying an hpi savage 4.6 kit within the next month:D I hope I did'nt bore you guys too much! By the way I also really enjoy this forum and rc driver mag!

Hi, I'm new to the board. I used to have a couple stadium trucks that I beat up pretty good when I was in high school. Then they were stolen and that was the end of that. Anyway, I made the mistake of talking to a couple guys that race and now I'm back, er, will be once I get another car. That's about it. I live in WY so there's lots of rocks and mountains and really everything you need to break an rc. Good times.

Hey all,
I'm Mike, and I've been a basher for 15 years or so. In fact, I still have my Airtronics Caliber 3P radio - which is still in grea shape - that I used to drive a Losi JrX2, my first cr model (my very first model was a Tamiya Sonic Fighter, and, before that, I had a yellow 4WD truck form Radio Shack).
Losi dominates my collection of R/Cs. I have a JrX2 (not my original), two XXCRs (and several boxes of spare parts to keep these three old schoolers on the road for a while) a Mini T Pro, a Mini LST (actually, the latter mini is my wife's), and an Aftershock. I also have an Emaxx, an RC10T2, and an RC10T. I bought most of my rides on ebay, in some cases piece by piece. I am currently assembling a Losi Junior T, or, at least, am trying to.
My wife and I just opened a business in Lake George, NY and had a daughter in February, so I'll be logging few hours at my workbench for a while. But, I do have some time to read up on the hobby and chat with other R/Cers. So, keep on postin' guys, I'm up A LOT at night! : )
I'm glad to be on the forum.

I am a pine and hardwood vendor for home depo and i have loved rc cars ever since i was little and saw my older sisters friends rip up a hack nitro monster truck that could drive up 7 inch curbs. I use to have a savage but i sold that because i baught the truckzilla conversion and it was never the same again  right now i own a rc18b heavily modded with brushless and all aluminum. I just ordered a thunder tiger st-1 from amainhobbies.com for 244 dollars!! along with 200 dollars in extra parts. I am going to be the happiest person in the world when it arrives. Hey buddy do yourself a favor and make the jump to nitro... Although RC (AND THE R IS RADIO NOT REMOTE! SORRY just clearing that up) electrics have made many many strides as of lately but there is nothing like the realism of nitro. Plus your run times are only determined by how much nitro you have. Ya the fuel is kinda expensive but you get a lot of runs out of a gallon (25 with a 150cc tank to be exact). Plus you will learn so much and be even more of a gear head than you already are. Electric is cool but the real big boy toys imo are nitro Radio Control Cars! ;)

Hi, my name is Daniel and I live in Adelaide, Australia. I have got a traxxas nitro rustler, but I need to wait 1 month 'till my birthday before I am allowed to use it. I've already got everything I need to start except for the fuel. I have already checked out a few local parks and BMX tracks where I will be able to take it. I just can't wait!! I don't know what's worse, not having a nitro truck, or having to wait to get a go!! I really hope there will be no issues as it is 2nd hand and I haven't tried to start it yet. If it doesn't work it will give me a good excuse to upgrade to a brand new TRX 3.3! I have seen pics and vids of guys who have done that and those trucks go like bullets!! I hope I can make some friends here who could give me good advice as I am new to this hobby and I have high hopes!!
Hey im j88h and i live in ca.

Hello everyone. I've spent a ton of time reading in these forums because I am fairly new to the RC world. This is my first post. Got a Slash for christmas and upgraded some minor parts but most importantly upgraded it to brushless. Only using a 6 cell NiMH but that keeps it controllable. Loving it! My name's Garon and I've learned a ton from all you posters out there so keep up the great posts and when I have questions, I'll be able to post them online now. Look forward to learning from all.

well i figured i would start here for my first post.
i got into racing off road back in the early 90's with a rc10 ce. when i turned 16 i got out and sold all my stuff so i could start working on my 1:1 car. around the age of 21 i wanted to get back into racing but after buying an rc10t i never got around to going to the track. the rc10t sat in a box for years after that.
about 6 years ago i sold it and all the equipment i had bought again only to decide to get back into it a year later. money was tight but i ended up buying a rc10b4 ft. six months later i was able to afford to get the cheapest electronics i could find so it ran only to find out the local track closed. i built a track in the backyard but it got boring racing yourself. plus the cost of upkeep on the track was preventing me from affording to get any more rc stuff. trying to get back into rc with a newborn son was just not in the budget.
my son turned 4 years old this year. i was surfing the net and found a track about an hour and a half away. so me and him took a drive. well he fell in love and i was hooked yet again. and knowing how mych i learned from racing rc cars when i was younger i knew this would be something that would be good for my son to learn.
over the last 6 months my rc collection has increased. but sadly i am still stuck not being able to race until i pick up a few more items.
here's the fleet tat we currently have.
associated rc10b44 ft
associated rc10b4 ft converted to atomic carbon s2
associated rc10l fiberglass chassis (son's using this one to learn to drive)
associated rc10 team car restored as a practice buggy
associated rc10 custom being built for wife as a modern racer
bolink outlaw sprint car (not sprinter) which is a shelf car
i am currently working on converting one of the rooms in our house as a dedicated rc workshop with wall to wall benches and shelving. its almost complete and there will be dedicated spots for everything. yet i know that wont last as the collection grows.
myself and the wife plan to rebuild the track out back as a practice track for us and an friends that would like to use it but we are planning to hold off a couple years until the house is paid off. this will give us the extra money to be able to build the track as we would like it to be.
i have plans to get everything else i am needing to get racing again by the first of the year. i wish it could be sooner but between now and then i will work on trying to get my wife's racer built.
outside of rc i use to run a local custom car club called low class car club (thus my username) i shut the club down after 16 years so that i could have more time with my family.
i also run the ford probe car registry, and built the website for the kentucky probe owners group. and lets not forget my personal 1:1 car site, family site, and rc site. so as you can tell i try to keep busy.
and on a side note. i started smoking cigarettes at a very early age. after 18 years of smoking i finally quit on oct 10 2008 and have been smoke free ever since.
well that's about it for me. if anyone has any questions feel free to ask me.

OK, where do I start? I'm old, 57, but stretching out my childhood. Married factory rat with a 22 year-old son. Been doin' RC of some kind since around the mid-`70's. Did planes for a while but only got the crashing part down pat. I raced indoor and outdoor on and off-road cars, trucks and buggies since before pistol grip radios and ESC's.
I'm mostly a boater now and have been hard at that since the mid-`90's.
If you're boat curious, come on down to the boat forum, I check in at least once a day. Got questions? If I know the answers I'll give them to you straight. My big thing with boats is .12 nitro but up to .45's then gas.
OH yeah, almond M&M's when I can find them, don't like Skittles. :D My weakness is Mallow-Cups and dark chocolate.

Superstarr in da house!:D I'm 33 years old and live in Daytona Beach, Fl. Not only do we have the Daytona Int'l Speedway but we have ECRC (East Coast R.C.) Yeah! I have 3 whips. The 1st is 1/10th scale xxx-t matt Francis edition with Xcelorin brushless system and all graphite. 2nd is a 1/8th scale Losi 8ight 2.0 buggy. 3rd is my baby, it's a Losi 8ight-t decked out with a V-Spec. All the whips are kept clean and look like shelf queens when not on the track. My favorite part of the hobby is getting into my zone, wrenching and modifing them. Well that's about it, see ya around!!!!

Started in RC back in the early 90's as a way to get off of drugs. It worked now I spend all my money on... crap Just kidding, kindof I do spend waaay too much money on this but not as much as others on the forums so that makes me feel better.
My fleet consist of
2 Clods, 1 racer (CPE dual brushless sidewinders) and 1 cool looking 4ws stockish (zilla2) truck that my kids play with
rc10 currently being restored- that means sitting doing nothing
rc10T which actually is close to running waiting for parts in the mail
rc10T3 race at the local track with novak havok pro brushless
slash brushless
tlt converted crawler thingy- looks cool has monte carlo mini cooper for lid
axial scx10-tr stock no mods
dropped midnight pumpkin sitting on m-03- jesse james style
a poor mans sand scorcher sitting on a frog chassis
midnight pumpkin stock
rs4mt electric stock
4 losi mini-t's
For years I have just bashed- lately I have been able to rope other young and old doOds into RC and we are starting to go the track locally. The giveaways first had drawn me to this forum- but I am obsessive and will probably logon at least once a day.
Looking forward to conversation.
