Traxxas Bandit question!

if i make my wheelbase wider with rustler rear a-arms and half shafts and camber links, will i need to change my gearing? I want it to stay a bandit, but i ordered the wrong aluminum rear a-arms.

As long as the wheels and tires and original gearing are the same, then your golden. Thing is, when you install the wider rear arms, you will have better stability. It may change the effectiveness of the shocks however. You may need to add preloads or change shock oils and pistons. I do not see it being a problem though, perhaps riding smoother or having more "bottoming out" issues than with the stock arms. It may be a great upgrade, let us know how they change the handling of the bandit if at all.

I have all the spacers possible on the rear shocks. will it still act as a bandit with speed and offroadness (running on dirt)

what Phil said... gearing is affected by tire size, you're golden. Will certainly look strange though, the rear rustler arms are quite a bit longer than the bandit arms.

You'll need the Rustler's longer driveshafts and camber links to finish your build. When you're done, you'll have a "Brustler!" Or is it a "Randit?"
