Picked this up NIB over the winter, my first official "TRF" addition. Has all the goodies but swaybars: TRF shocks (amazingly smooth) universals, ball diff, turnbuckles, etc. Not sure why Tamiya did not include a slipper, kind of a large omission on this kit.

Veered away from the box stock paint - was a little too pink for me so I removed some of it - though left a little on there as it's the signature color for TRF releases. Also trimmed down the wing quite a bit from stock, I like the lower and meaner look.

Awesome kit, has the HPI motor and ESC from my blitz in right now, though may not even run it. Probably a shelfer for me up in my office.

those steering knuckles look like the ones on my eagle (the same ones that keep breaking) any chance you could shoot me a pic of them if you go to pull it apart in the near future?

also, how do you not like the pink? pink = pimp, :p everyone knows that

Sure - Long version: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXGB49&P=Z

Short version: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXGJ85&P=Z

The longer version has longer shafts for the bearings to ride on - comes with the lunchbox, pumpkin, etc. Shorter version id for buggy wheels - comes on the hornet, ghopper, etc. Early traxxas vehicles are probably fairly similar.
