we just extended the oval out to a 225' run line with an even bigger sc center track and back track with a short 3' tabletop in the back. we've got 40 members on record right now with atleast another 20 ppl who race every once and a while or the ton who are one-timers

There is a small dirt oval at my LHS, but it got even shorter now cause of the slash class. They had to take some away to make a offroad track off of the oval. I think BL would be way to fast for it, but breakout class on a brushed motor would be fine. I want to play around on it this season with the Slash, both oval and offraod. I would also like to grab up another TC4 and run on the indoor concreate oval. It looks fun, and they do race brushless, but your only half throttle for maybe a second or less before hitting the break again to make the turn, pretty small also. I want to take the Revo over to the other LHS and run against the Nitro Revos, see how I fair. Dirt oval looks very fun, and I would love to give it a go.

i have to say i love oval racing way more than offroad racing and group track-bashing like we used to do before the oval club took over the county track i race at.

its like totaly the best thing ever; totaly :cool:

now that we extended the track we are going to be able to race the 5b's regularly and the 1/8th bl buggy points series the RCTVLive sponsoring is going to get crazier than ever, only 1 race in and it was nuts!

im actualy giving oval racing a break, after this saturdays crapy results (7th in heat, dnf with a broken lrp 7.5t) its 15 bucks i could put else where, besides the mold restoration guy i do ic work for is about to go under so ill probably be out of a job in a month or so:( im not selling my stuff though, just not racing either ;)
