Lhs has 2 tracks indoor, one like that and one offroad, and a nitro offroad track outside. Why did they amp this up so much?

Maybe this is just me, but at $10 a day for a little track practice, I think a carport or empty parking lot would do the same job. It might not be the easiest surface to drive on but atleast you would have ten more dollars than the guy doing the same thing on a little indoor track.

Hey! At least I now have an actual track that isn't 923859 miles away from me! Its aboiut time they built something near irvine.

Ya, Mini-Z tracks are all over, but when we did our pre-release opening party I noticed that they are not using the typical foam track...its a pretty dialed carpet track. The cars handled awesome on it and they were super-consistent around the whole track. The corners seemed much more 'crash-friendly' too...if you minutely graze a corner you can glance off and continue instead of getting stuck or bouncing off and facing in the wrong direction.

I've run on both and have to say I like this carpet version better. Just my opinion...

You think that they would mind if I brought my xmod to school the mini Z's? :D
