Hey All; I am posting some pix of a kustom build from friend of mine at the LHS. He is a 19 year old kid who thought up this whole thing on his own. He asked me to post a few pix for feedback and any ideas on what kind of body to fit to it.I am very impressed with his concept and execution. He has a few details to work out but it is all there and fully functional.It has an independent 8 wheeled suspension.Fill time 8 wheel drive and 4 wheel steering. It has one brushless motor but can be set up to run 2 motors and he will install another at a later date. Hope you guys like it as muc as I do.Later,Wrench.

That's prety cool, how well does it perform? I'm guessing it's onroad only? What kind of body is he gonna run? I reckon one of those bug bodies for 1:12 Minis should fit!

Very cool!!

i don't know what the wheelsbase is, but i think a van body would look kinda cool with all those wheels. i remember seeing a van mounted on a tank platorm and it looked awseome! just my .02!

Hey Guys;
If you put a standerd RC18 next to it the wheels line up with the first and third set on the 8X8. We only tested it in the parking lot outback of the hobby shop.We don't know what body to run yet.That was one of the things he wants my help with.We have tried it running over grass and it handled a freshly mowed yard good. Holding off on full off-road test till it is all buttoned up soon.I like the van idea for a body.I think that would give him something very different.I was also looking at a Kyosho snow runner body on eBay for it too.Later,Wrench.

the kyosho body would work well too - something tall like that, a van, or a bug body would give you plenty of room for those electronics too.
