Yes people do race in Hawaii!
OCS just started up a new electric on-road series in January in the parking lot at Sandy Fleming's Fast Electrics. We're running a Mini Cooper class with silver can or black can mabuchi motors, a Touring Car class with silver can or black can motors, and a 1/12th Pan Car class running 4 cell and motors from stock 27T to 19T. We run on the 2nd and 4th sunday of every month. Registration starts at 11am and the race starts at noon. There is no entry fee just yet but there will be at some time in the future. Come join the fun if your in Hawaii or just visiting on vacation!
