Chances are you will find people here who will recommend each one of those. Bottom line is that they are all good options. Talk to the local hobby shop (assuming you have one) and see what vehicles they keep in stock as well as replacement parts. You want to drive something that you can get parts for. They should have information on most of what you are considering.

And by all means take into consideration the opinions you will get here on the individual trucks.

i want to see which truck is gonna be recomended more, o ya i forgot to say this is gonna be a truck im gonna use on the track a lot. About the local hobby shop, sadly i dont got one (they went out of beussnines) so id have to get parts off of ebay or go 100 miles to vegas.....so finding out from a lhs is kinda out of the question... which truck would u recomend davidb?

Well you said you are going to race more. so that would be between the Losi or AE. I would probably see what the racers at the track drive, even though either one is a good choice. I have a nitro rustler that I just bash around with. Nothing wrong with racing a rustler. I probably havent been helpful but if you are serious about racing look into the the Losi, comes with alot of great stuff. Oh yea, I also have a T4 that I love to race with and used to have a Losi XX buggy.

Well I would definately toss a coin and chose either the associated or losi, the rustler would need alot of modding to be competetive with those trucks, also look at what duratrax has to offer also hpi has some good race/bash type trucks.
You have decisions to consider.:)

Gee I would look on tower or horizon for those vehicles.

Don't get any upgrades yet. Learn to drive it well and upgrade as needed.

I definatly think you should drive the truck bone stock so you can become familiar with it, after a time anything that needs attention should become quite apparent.
You should check the track you will be running on to decide which tires to use they will have a big effect on how the vehicle handles.:D

GT2 all the way. This truck holds a tune so well. I have not had any problems with mine and have had it now for 4 months. Associated products and Losi I have faith in.

Oh, just my own opinion. Buy from AmainHobbies. Hands down the fastest shipping with very competitive pricing. Plus thier forum is very helpful just as RCDRIVER' is:)

i dont really want to order the truck off the internet....ummm i would rather go up to the hobby shop and buy it....that way i dont have to wait to get it like i would if i ordered it off the internet.....also i might get a discount off gas or something like that..........another thing is i dont have to worry about it getting broken being shipped to my house...

I buy almost everything off the internet. AMAINHOBBIES is the best and will ship fast. Thier prices are great as well. Sounds like your hobby shop is far away. I have close ones where I live but still get better deals from the internet. Just my 2 cents:) Good luck.
