Same reason we did it with a Wheely King...it was fun and made for cool photos.

Nothing was harmed other than the bodies being slightly deformed and everyone having to smell burnt hair.

I recognized a couple of guys from the hobby shop I used to go to in SLC, UT before I moved- West Valley Hobbies. Mike and Raury. Kind of surprised me to see their mugs in pics of your nationals coverage. I think Raury was second place in 2.2 also which is cool.

Looks like incredible fun. I do miss the wild west sometimes.

We also lit up a brushless Wheely King 4WD.

Neither truck was harmed from the fire, we just managed to deform the bodies a bit.

...and the guy that pulled lighter duty lost some hair from his hand/arm.

Now the 150 foot cliff-diving adventure...that's a different story. :D

The Wheely King was launched three times and the only reason we didn't do it four times was 'cause the RX antenna was cut.

I should add that this wasn't me setting fire to the vehicles or launching them it was the owners of the two vehicles.
