I've been hit by several RCs while snapping pics, even had near-misses with 1/4 scale cars and Mac Hodges' 20 foot B-29.

3D helis are the absolute worst things to photograph.

That's was some good stuff. That was almost like watching your car burn up and there's nothing you can do about it.

I can't believe they just let it beat it's way around in circles like that. IMHO a foot would have stopped the blades and the engine if he could have pinched the silicone extension.

I know, I know...hindsight :D
