As you can see we've started giving stuff away here on the forums. Our intent is to have a monthly giveaway with the type of item changing each month.

Next month it might be a touring car, a 1/8 buggy, or whatever random items we have on hand.

If you're lucky you might just walk away with your very own Bob*.

So, for this giveaway you only needed to be a member of the forums, for future giveaways you'll need to be an active member of the forums.

We'll give more details as we get closer to the next giveaway.

I would imagine the Admins of this forum will verify that duplicate IP addresses were not used. Not sure how they will police IP masking though. I had to deal with that junk in forums I have ran in the past. Hopefully they will look for productive members that did not just join to win and then will never be seen again.

You may want to consider giving away items other than just kits and electronics. Like maybe give away a tools package, i.e. air compressor (track side and/or painting), airbrush, paints, screwdrivers, etc... I think you get what I am talking about. This is just a suggestion. Keep up the great work.

Hey guys! I just joined this site and have a question or two that hopefully someone will be able to answer accurately. Heres one. How do I post images of my little friends, aka my rc cars, on the post thread. I'm not an expert at using the computer, but I learn as I go along. Also, can some one tell me why the weight of differential oil matters when re-oiling them. Thanks!:)

When I post pictures I use a photo host. Such as photobucket or one of many others. Then when you go to enter your post you'll see the small yellow square with what looks like a mountain in it. This is the image insert tool. After you have up-loaded your images on to host. Right click on them and get the link info. Copy it & when the pop up box shows up from the image insert box. Paste the link in there & then it will show up in your post. Sounds complicated, but after a few times it's very easy.

As for the diff oil. Heavier weight oil / greases slow diff. action down inside. Thus acting like a limited slip of sorts. Some people pack them with a very heavy grease to get a very limited slip. Lighter oils make the diff. smoother & easier to spin. Depends on what kind of vehicle & what your going to do with it on how you want your diff. action to be.
