Here's a pic of my Mamba, lipo powered Tamtech Fox. It's running a 5400 kv motor, Hyperion Litestorm 1800mah 7.4v lipo, Tamiya aeration dampers, DP 1/10 adapters, Ti turnbuckles, and TRC foams.

With all the snow we've been getting I haven't had a chance to get it outside for any vids. If I make it to the track for racing this weekend I'll get some vid of the action.

Since I haven't had a chance to get any vids of the car, I figured I'd update the thread with a couple more pics. Vids will come soon.

Thanks. This setup is extremely dialed. Handling and acceleration are insane.

Well we had some decent weather finally, and the roads in the neighborhood across the street were pretty much dry. So I took my TT out for a pack and got a quick vid clip for those of you that wanted to see it.

Got another new set of foams mounted up. These are my favorites so far. I went with 26mm fronts and 30mm rears this time, instead of 30mm at all four corners. It gives it more of a 2wd buggy look than the wide tires all the way around.

Thanks guys. Yeah the fronts appear bigger just cause they are closer to the camera lens. They are all the same diameter, the fronts are just more narrow. In the vid when it slides sideways in front of the camera that was intentional and planned. When I got back on the gas and it shot off to the right side, that was not planned lol and was due to the tires being overpowered by the mamba/lipo combo.

I was wondering how many tires you have for your car. Also what do you mean by offroad carpet?

I have about 15 different sets of tires for this car. Most are foams of different shore ratings, and trued to different diameters for varying tracks and conditions. This is off road carpet.

I just got a Phat Bodies Dufus lid for my Tamtech. It's not quite finished yet, but you get the general idea of what they look like. These bodies are awesome. They have a MUCH lower profile than any of the bodies currently available from Tamiya for these chassis. Def give the car more of a "racer" appearance.

I'll post a few better shots, once it is finished.

a "dufus" body? Is that as in "he is such a dufus" :) lol - either way i like it

fastmax

LOL yep Dufus. Phat Bodies is a small UK based company that makes a couple bodies and wings for 1/18 buggies. The 2wd body is called Dufus, and the 4wd body is called Dudu. I'm not sure how they came up with the names, all I know is I really like the bodies. I really don't remember for sure what wheels these are. If memory serves they are older TRC.
