Here's a project I recently finished. Tamiya Fox in box stock form, with the exception of a Tamiya ESC with Deans plugs. I love this car, it is a blast to run.

Cool picture! Those old Tamiya buggies definitely look cool.

By the way, how do you highlight the lettering on the tires? I always wondered how guys did it. Cool car!

Thanks man. I use testors model enamel for the tire lettering, and either a very fine brush or a toothpick to apply the paint inside each letter. It's not difficult, it just requires some patience.

Thanks. They are the stock wheels that came with these kits. CRP made adapters for mounting these wheels on the original RC10. They can be purchased here. http://cgi.ebay.com/WHEEL-ADAPTERS-Vntage-RC-Tamiya-Fox-to-RC10-CRP-4120_W0QQitemZ250201569056QQihZ015QQcategoryZ34063 QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem and the wheels come up on ebay quite often just do a search for Fox wheels.

Nice man. I'm a sucker for flames, and you gotta love that extre realism Tamiya packs in.

I have an old tamiya buggy I need to fix up. I think it was a Hornet or something like that. I will have to post a pic of it someday.
