Hey guys gals and everyone in between. I am one of the noobs to the site, a noob to nitro's and Ive been around the block with electrics in the past. My name is Ben, I am a 30 almost 31 year old that according to his wife has not yet grown up. I use to work for the local Lincoln Mercury dealer in town and the lead tech got me hooked into the sport. We had daily races on the shop floor with a good size flat super oval. Lots of drifting even with stadium trucks and knobby tires. Lets just say the boss got on us time and time again being it was almost like we were getting paid to play with the RC's.
Well I moved on from the career in automotive repair to doing Security work. I now have two nitro rigs, a Jato running a 2.5 and alloy this and that parts and I have an Associated MGT with a Police car Caprice body. I am still working on making the light bar light up. The Jato is one I have owned for a year and a half and have continued to mod but have never ran it. I have had problem getting it to start and not have idle issues when started. The Jato is one of the reasons I am here, to learn about it and have that machine running. Yeah its winter, good timing huh. Well I have blahblahblahed you guys to death for now. I will do it again soon. thanks for having me on your killer looking forums. Glad to be here, can't wait to start learning about Nitros.
