Well I gutted my CZ4 and completely redesigned it. It has 55t lathe motors, a Novak super duty xr esc, Inet upper link mounts, Inet wheel wideners, billett aluminum rims with imex claw dawg tires. I made my own carbon fiber motor mounts, battery tray and upper deck, as well as rear stear lockout, until I figure out how I want to set up my rear stear. I made all new links for it extending the wheel base from 14" to nearly 16.5 inches. It has custom laser cut servo mounts and a hitec 645 servo, (still need to pick up one more servo for the rear) With front steer only and locked diffs I have the steering radius of about two square city blocks, lol. It has aluminum threaded body shocks, but I want to get some nice silver piggy back shocks to replace these with, and shock standoffs from RC Solutions I guess that's about it at the moment, Im quite happy with how it turned out even though I still need to do a few more things to it to get it exactly how I want it.

Actually I have not yet, but I would really like to. I want to get my scale Jeep tuber finished then maybe try and hook up with a few guys for a gtg. But unfortunately I really don't know anyone in to the scale and crawling scene. I have been a nitro guy for many years and only recently got in to Crawlers and scalers.
Also, I really don't think my CZ4 would make much of a comp rig. Although I really enjoy my CZ4 conversion I probably wouldnt get much respect in a comp with it, lol. I have been tossing around the idea of building a 2.2 comp rig though if I could find some guys to run with somewhat locally.
That's one reason I have strayed away from the nitros at the moment, there is absolutely no place to race here on Long Island. I have raced out at Traxx70 in Jersey, but that's a three hour drive each way, and with the cost of gas now making that trip on a regular basis isn't an ideal situation.
Once I finish my Jeep tuber though I would love to find some guys to get together for a scale trail gtg out here on the island.

You should see some of the other bodies he has painted, NCNitro has some serious painting skillz!
Whats up NC, you need to hurry up with the tuber!

What's up Mr. Maxxin. Thanks for the compliments on the painting.
Realistically the tuber is gonna have to wait till after the holidays. With two little boys waiting for Santa to come, and a wife too, lol, unfortunately there is no play money for me right now.

I really didn't build it to any specific specs, but I guess it would fall under super class. It started as an ESP Clodzilla IV. I stretched the wheelbase to 16 1/2 inches, it has two Integy Lathe 55 turn motors, and a Novak Super Duty XR esc. I no longer have those tires, they did not grab at all, they would spin on about anything, but they did look cool. I still have the truck but I rarely use it, seems no one is really interested in super class clod based rigs anymore.
I have been tossing around the idea of converting it once again, but this time to a 1/6 scale Jeep scaler if I can find a good deal on a 1/6 Jeep body.
Thanks for the compliments on the paint, that was actually the first time I tried true fire. My more recent ones are much better.
