hey everyone! i was wondering if an RcGuy 8 tooth pinion would fit on the novak fifty-five motor. i think the fifty-five is a 540type motor. anyhelp appreciated! thanks!

It will indeed fir all existing pinons the shaft is 0.125"

oh but one thing... i noticed that it said 32 pitch when the spur gear im lookin at is a 48 pitch...does this mean much?

yes, they will not work together, a 32 pitch gear has much broader teeth than a 48 pitch. (pitch refers to the number of teeth per inch i believe) - a 32 pitch pinion must be used with a 32 pitch spur.

if you can make it work, a T-maxx spur gear is 32 pitch...and they come in a large size if you want to gear down really low. i used one on my TLT for a while. 32P teeth are much more durable, and with an 11T pinion it crawled all over the place no problem.

well i guess ill just buy like a ton of pinion gears and spur gears and test them all out!! =p
