It has a
4.5 novak
and is powered by 2 cell lipo.

Super-sweet 501! Where do you run it? Please go to the RaceBlog section (at the bottom) and feel free to add any comments and tips, etc., to the 501X section. What Li-Poly batts are you using? I see sub-C NiMHs in there at the moment. What differences do you notice between the two battery types?

I don't race yet but hopefully going to get into racing. I run this any were were theres a big slab of concrete or a nice dirt or grass area. The lipo is a max amp 4000 mah 2 cell. There is a big difference between my saddle pack 3900 mah and my 2 cell lipo for starters we got the car with the 6 cell going 34 mph and then we put the 2 cell and got it going 41 mph and that a speed difference.:)

:) Thats a cool buggie. All you need is an abandoned dirt lot and some jumps and obstacles . :D
