Hi All,
New to the forums. Been into RC for years, but predominately aircraft. A buddy of mine got me hooked on cars and trucks during the summer. I jumped in with both feet. Here are two of my favorites. The blue Mustang is modeled after my full scale Pony. It rides on a Tamiya TT01 Chassis and HPI Vintage wheels and tires. Power comes in the form of a Traxxas Brushless Motor and a MaxAmps 3S 11.1 Lipo @ 5000 Mah's. This car rarely exceeds half throttle. The speed is insane! Since this picture was taken, I have added a custom made rear wing that resembles the rear wing on my full scale, and I photographed my license plate and made a small decal that I placed on the car.
The red one is a Tamiya TL01 chassis with an HPI 1966 Mustang Gt body. Powered by a Venom Fireball 15t and Tazer Speed Controller. Not near as fast as the blue Mustang, but it is fun to drive. I have a set of drift tires I put on it on occasion. What a blast.
