I have an XTM X-cellerator (nitro) that is totaly stock. Runs great everytime. Recently, I have used it and after about five minutes the car just takes off on its own and does what it wants. I have to run after it and shut it down. I start it again and after about five mins or so, off it goes to do what it wants. Please give me some suggestions. Thanks.

When that happens, it's generally because of loss of power or servo wires. Try to track back all the wires from your servo's to your receiver. Make sure none of the wires are cut or split open, they could be shorting out.

Second, replace the switch on your car. The switch is a common problem and goes bad more often then you think.

Third, does your batteries in your car and transmitter have enough power? Have you replaced them recently? And does it happen when your vehicle is close to you or when you're out of range?

Hope this helps..
