Indoor Offroad Track Philly

Anyone know of the rumor there is an indoor offroad/onroad track in Philly?

Hobby Hut in Audubon has a nice track - i believe that would be the closest track. (but it is outdoors and probably closed for the winter.) There is a pretty good track up on Rt. 61 at the Hobbytown, USA also - but outdoors though. I do not know offhand of any indoor tracks at all in the area.

Yeah, I race at Hobby Hut. Heard from some other racers that a guy in the city bought a building on a pier and made and indoor race track.

Really??? that is interesting indeed. Keep me posted if you hear anything! Been a while since i went out and tore around on anything but a backyard or a construction site. i used to work for a local homebuilder and i would make a makeshift track on the jobsites on the weekends.

(although i may never go down to philly again if Joe Vento gets kicked out as a matter of principle - one of the highest murder rates in the nation, and they are worried about joe vento and the boy scouts. Rediculous)
