if you cant tune, do not buy the hellfire. my dad just bought one and, out of the box in needs a lot of tunning.(not just the engine) and if you think the t-maxx was a lot of maintenance, the hellfire will be just the same, as with any nitro.

I agree !! Go with an HPI E Savage. These are good trucks. A bit short on run times for me, but still a good all around truck. Nitro is a constant maintenance deal & if you don't understand it. It can be a complete pain for some people. You can go just as fast as a nitro with an electric & have virtually no maintenance compared to nitro.

i understand about tuning and stuff like that and i know how to but the t-maxx is rediculous! i get it to run in small pockets of time, a few days or so, then it starts frying plugs... i just dont understand it. then after it frys all the plugs it just stops runnning for a month or 2. im not sure if its the fuel im using (traxxas top fuel) or the recomended plugs (hot) but i cant keep it running.

Traxxas sucks. Buy a Savage 4.6 EASY to tune and will hold it all day.

^^^^the savvy always seemed top heavy to me. thats just not my style for racing. but the savvy is a sweet basher.

p.s. since when did the savvy ever win a big race. why dose traxxas suck?, cause you are always following a revo?
