well i have everything I need but a drill press, so let me now if you are willing to drill some holes for me.

You can go to the local hardware store & get a drill press for like 60$. I would definitely not let this hold back a design .... I know your young & all, but you don't have neighbors with a drill press ? A local machine shop should drill a few holes for Cheap. Can't wait to get a look at it though. Post up some pictures when you can. Heck you might have a great idea & design.

nope, neighbors don't have one nor are there to many places around here. But I think my grampa has one so I'll have to call him.
P.S. A 60 dollar one probably will destroy it.:mad:

Sounds like your on a good track. My cheap drill press works just fine. It has saved me many times. If I need any big or precision work done, I go to the Local machine shop. They do little things cheap & I don't have to own Big dollar machines I hardly ever use.

well one of my friends has a press so he is doing them but his bit got broken:confused: so now I have to buy him a new one plus it is delaying getting it done!!:mad:

well, I should be getting a job doing conctruction on Saturdays so that will definatly help. Also this weekend I'm taking some vids of my buggy with how the suspension works now so I can compare later.

dremel has a pretty inexpensive drill press "attachment" for their rotary tools

sorry for not keeping updated, but I refined my design and now I need a little more than a drill press but I've sent out about 20 emails to rc companys and non rc companys in hope of starting a rc devision.

I certainly hope your working on a suspension for something worthy. I don't know how much you know about manufacturing, but it's not cheap at all. The only way to keep cost down is to do many parts at one time. That will in turn cost lots of money, On top of the design cost. Great ideas are a good thing, but making them a reality is something totally different. Wish you luck on creating an RC Division .

Just post some pictures or more information. There are many people that are capable of doing these things. Me included, but I won't waste time on a bad idea. Maybe you have one of the greatest ideas ever, Never quit trying. If you do, thats a sure way to fail & not complete your project.
